Well, the little circle on the back of the eagle makes it appear to be die cast/pot metal to me. If that's the case, I'd say not real.

It is a replica/fantasy badge manufactured in the USA by the Langenbacher company. They make old west badges for collectors and re-enactors. You will see several of that same style on eBay at any given time. Sub
