Detroit Police Pin!

[metaldetecta]

I did pretty good about a week ago. I found the pin at a school and 9 wheat pennies through-out the day. The day before I I found a 1920 Merc and 2 wheaties. Does anyone know the age or any info on this pin? I found it right next to the flag at the school.

Not sure how much help this will be but I did find this link to a tie tack/lapel pin which seems to resemble what you found. Unfortunately the description just labels it as "old" but does not give any years. Plus there is not a photo of the back side but since the images on the front are identical, I think this might be your best match.
