Deus in 54 khz hammers Merc

Wasn't expecting much as I tried the 54 khz in a hunted hard area. I was just hoping for a deeper nickel or penny that I might have missed. But to my surprise, my very first repeatable target and a very banging hard signal was this 1940 Merc. it was nearly 5" deep plus the thick flattened grass. I had been concerned about depth on the smaller silver but the 54 hz hit it like it was a quarter or bigger. This is my 18th silver for this year, the 21st merc for the site and the 39th silver find for the site so far. Really love this HF coil. DL

Great find with running 54 KHZ,and with 39 silvers from that site I would say you did really well.

Thanks all, permissions make a tremendous difference and this one has been amazing. I keep thinking that there can't be any more and am prepared for that but I keep getting surprised. I guess being old and crippled makes slower detecting the norm. I really do like this HF coil and the wife is chomping at the bit to get back out but it may be another week or so for her....so sad!
