DFX gets SLQ

The DFX grabbed this yesterday at the site that gave up the IH and war nickel. SLQ was recovered at about 6.5". The date doesn't show in the picture and I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it out on the coin or not. If I can get a date on it I'll post when I do. Another first for me. 8)

Great find! Do you recall which program you were using on your DFX, when you found the SLQ. I upgraded to a DFX from a Frizm V about 2 months ago and I have not be able to get out alot with my DFX yet to real get use to it and the programs. So I have just been using the preprogramed choices, mostly Coin/Jewerly. Thanks!!!

I was using a mix between one of the "canned" progs and a custom prog if I recall correctly.

The canned programs do ok and your coin/jewelry should be alright to get the hang of things. Once you are comfortable with everything you may want to try tweaking some setting. Jeff Fosters book Digging Deeper with the DFX might be helpful as well.
