Diamond Hill Mine, SC - Question

Has anyone gotten anything good out of this pit lately? This is my third trip there out of five times and the past three times have been horrible. So I am just curious if anyone has had any luck there in the past couple of years?

I was there a couple of years ago and got lots of small crystals and clusters of rock garden quality crystal. I saw a beautiful fist sized amethyst that had been sifted out of a pile a couple of weeks before.
