Ok, so I can't see the diamond without my glasses, but diamond just the same. I.D.'d on my Ace 250 one notch below nickel. Very solid cursor so...... dig. About 1 1/2 inch down, overlooking Lake Michigan bluffs. Found in Bay View park, Milwaukee. TTC

Congrats on the diamond ring. Size doesn't matter. PJ

Gratz on the ring (as I start to mumble under my breath)... You have to be one of the luckiest people I know... But nice find!

Hey Phil,

I go th'ng with my brother TerryC. He IS good at it. Sometimes I want to "retire" my detector over his head. His pain pills keep him going, and the gold keeps bringing him back.

Hey Phil,
I told your daughter I would find another for her. Check her ring size. I'd like to give it to her, IF it's ok with you. She said something about some jealous friends that might take such a thing so I don't want to start something she may feel bad about. Keep that 250 going! Your turn next! TTC

Nice find
I've been digging notch 3 signals since I (air) tested the Ace on a wide variety of gold jewelry and found that gold registers anywhere from 3 to 6. I dig anything in that range even if the cursor moves one or two notches since that also occurred in my air tests.
Gold chains came up mostly at 2, moving to 3 sometimes, but only registered if they were bunched up and the coil was within 2-3 inches.
Actual field results may vary, but I say when in doubt, dig!

Nice find T.C.! You were right you always find something good each time you hunt!

MrBling,
I've found 4 rings since I moved up here from Florida, in May. Probably could find more if I dig "iffy" signals. I have titanium holding my back together so I have just so many "digs" per day. I normally don't dig if the cursor jumps. I also find that chains just don't show up unless bunched. Elusive buggers! Keep up the good work! Thanks. TTC

Congratulations, real nice ring!!
