Yes. Yes I did. But she left earlier today ... something about her hubby ....
My lovely wife surprised me with a trip to England to go treasure hunting with my good friend CTTodd and a bunch of other good folks that I know. Oh, and a new pair of socks.
We didn't exchange gifts this year since we spent over 7000 dollars to save our dog. She had Pancreatitis and we thought we were going to lose her. So having her around for another couple of years is the best gift we could hope for. This is out 10 year old Blue Heeler. The second picture is from 7 years ago, she loves getting hoisted up to have her belly rubbed.

Living in rural Mexico we don't do heavy Christmas gift exchange. Christmas Eve is a family night, period. In our case, a neighbor woman, a widow, invited us to an evening meal. Not fancy, but it was a loving evening with hugs all around. Perfect.
cool ! but not so cool for her hubby. if i say what i'm thinking i'll surely get reprimanded so you can guess
......gorillas. We ain't got em in Oregon ......
I got a mild sinus infection that made all my teeth hurt. Does that count?
