Did I see some where on here that one of the armored services cull silver?

Did I see somewhere on here awhile back that someone had determined one of the big services was culling silver? Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated. Seems like some services have changed hands in my area at several banks. I need to map it out again.

I haven't been able to track down an elusive Brinks box around here yet, but I have gotten silver in Loomis, Garda and Dunbar boxes. I think whoever said that they were culling was just disappointed that they weren't finding anything.

I have talked to ops managers at armored carriers and they said they are not allowed to cull silver because they do not own the coins, the basically dont even touch them, just let the machines do the work.

He said legally they could not even if they wanted to because they dont own them...so unless they are b reaking the law or have a special arrangement, i would doubt that they are.

I'm sure this is true but I bet the banks would let them have the silver if it eventually stopped CRHers. I wonder what our hobby costs banks every year.

I had a laugh today.

The lady that orders boxes for me at 1 of my banks said she was talking to the guy at "the fed" where they get their coins and he told her that they started pulling silver from the coins before they roll them.

I told her that I've been hearing that for many years and I'm sure it will always around.

It wouldn't surprise me if some day "the fed" decides to start pulling silver, but there are so many variables in that I don't ever see it happening.


the suck part is that the last 5 boxes from this bank were skunks.

I'll keep with them for another 5 skunks then I'm dropping them.

I also need to ask who they get their coins from.

There ARE people culling silver from EVERY single armored car service provider. I know this because I AM one of the people doing it. In fact EVERYONE on this forum is doing it too. The only people NOT doing it are people who work for these armored car services because if they take even 1 single coin regardless of its metal content they will be fired for THEFT. They are not allowed to carry their own money they would need to trade out for these coins either. The coins belong to either the bank or the federal reserve.

Geez people forgive me for not being on here 24-7 and reading every stinking post. Man what happened to decency? Just because your life sucks or your bitter about something doesn't mean you have to take it out on other people.

I'm am tired of it and feel you do nothing but pollute this great forum. I read this site for about 30 min to an hour 3 times a week and have gone months without a visit. But it sure seems lately the rudeness and just plain nastiness is a lot more prevalent. If this forum will kick off Obidiah or whatever the guys name was for ranting about his political views, I'm sure they have no problem kicking a few of you rude people off.

This forum 2 years ago seemed like it was nothing but positive encouraging comments and now there seems to be a handful of you that I notice post after post putting people down for, spelling, grammar, lack of pics, validity, asking a question that was asked 6 months ago, etc.

I'm not going to go out of my way or anything but if you feel it necessary to put people down, i feel it necessary to try and get you removed. You ad no value and in fact you bring the value down and discourage people for posting for fear of your venomous responses. I for one want nothing to do with it and am taking a stand....ENOUGH

My last three boxes were skunk. Those guys in black suits showed up in a UFO at the bank and removed the silver. I read about it on the internet.
