Actually my first coin spoiled it. It was a $5 gold us coin, so the smaller stuff didn't set me over the top. Now I found a Mexican silver coin that got me going, pictured, and some $20 gold coins that made my heart skip a beat, pictured. Frank...

Yep, There was an old mansion in the woods across from my house and I had just purchased a used Whites S63TR Goldmaster. I was looking around the base of an old oak tree and found it less than 1" deep. Only $5 gold coin I have ever found and like a fool, I cashed it in. I won't elaborate on the other gold coins. Hay this was back in the '70's. Frank...

Hay 62dold, I am 75 and still looking for that BIG cache. The thing is it's like sales, the 3 important things are location, location, location.
The best place to look is back yards where the rich have lived in the past. Last summer I found this 3 ct ruby ring in a 200 year old back yard where the rich had spent there summers. Frank...

My first Merc, I couldn't believe my eyes. I'm still amazed, how excited a 67 yo dude could get finding silver? I'm on number 20 (silver coins) for this year already. All last year I got 10.

I will be at least that thrilled and crazy when I find my first Merc, yet to come.............63bkpkr
