diggin' through the '06 stuff

Can't hunt in this fridgid weather, so went through the '06 stuff and found amy fav coins of the season.
1856 large cent
1891 IH
1911 V nickle
1912 linc
1916 barber
Couple buffs 1915 and unknown
1943 steel linc

All from parks and home sites.

HH you warm weather hunters.

Yup, dug that steely out after moving a bunch of trash away from an old flour mill. The trash was piled around the foundation. Myself and a friend offered to clean up the trash for the rights to hunt the old property.

steel penny was high and dry under all that trash. It didn't look that good when I dug it. there is some corrosion around the very bottom, that looks like shine.

Clean and shined with brasso.
