Ok guys n gals, headed back to my cheap jewelry cache location to see if i missed anything. Started from the opposite direction this time along the road. I'm a notorious cherry picker, I mostly dig clean clear signals after I get tired. I know it's terrible, but it's the truth. This time I was forcing myself to dig everything over like 8 on the nox 600 to see if there was any more jewelry along the road.
I hit a few cans, pull tabs, etc. Then I got a 19 signal, figured another can, and flipped the attempted plug (is very dry here, ground is like dust).
I saw a lead disk? Weird. Flip it over and voila!
Its not in the best shape, i think i might have bent the bottom edge digging (not sure) but there she is, my first breastplate.
Here it is after a light rinse in the sink. I'll probably just leave as is and not try to do anything else to it or would you clean further? What do you think?
Keep digging those cans, you just never know.
PS I didn't find much jewelry, just a sliver ring and a penny
