Decided to be like Wickaboag and just start a log so that I am not continuously posting bugging everyone with my posts!:laughing7:
I am not going to post nearly as much as everyone else on this thread, because I have been extrememly with school have only been CRH'ing once in the past month! :BangHead: Feel free to PM me about anything! My budget and time only allows me to buy CWR, not whole boxes. Not exactly the king of quarters like Wicka, but hope to find that dream roll someday!

Thanks! Mostly customer wrapped. My town and bank are so small thats all it usually is. Other times its usually a 50/50 mix of CWR and MWR's. My goal is one silver quarter! Haha.

May the Luck be with You!
Wicka (AKA-King Of Quarters!)

Thanks again Wicka! I am pretty happy with today. Went to the first bank and they said the only have $50 in quarters, so I got all of them. They said the had more in the back, but the teller in charge of them was out. Did they mean boxes? I got a couple bicentennials and some national parks (trying to put together a national parks set just from CHRing.) Figured I should get something else so long as I was there, so I got $20 in dimes. They also had 3 halves that I looked at, but they weren't silver. Went to the bank just a couple buildings down and dumped the skunk quarter rolls, then I went to a bank a bit farther away. Got $120 in halves. It worked out well because thats all I had, and all they had in the whole bank. Got 8 40%'s!!!!!! 4 of them were in the same roll! My closest to a dream roll yet!! Cashed those in for some more quarter rolls at the same bank. Its pretty far away from my house, and I didn't want to carry them bank. I went through the coins at a little table outside. Got a few more bicentennials and national parks in those quarters, then went home. Only 3 more national parks quarters and I will have the whole set! Also got this really weird quarter that looks like it may have been dipped in gasoline? Not worth keeping, just thought it was interesting.
Overall totals:
- 11 40% half dollars
- 10 national parks quarters (including Acadia and El Yunque- two I have been trying to get for a while)
- 3 Hawaii state quarters
- 6 Bicentennial quarters
- 1 U.S. VirginIslands quarter
- 1 1992 English 10 Pence coin

Hmmm. Maybe it only works for me :(
Nice Funds Dihren!
Wicka

I don't think that was gasoline, gasoline apparently can remove rust.

Went to the bank right after school today's hoping to get $120 I quarters. The man said that he would give me $40 and he needed to save the rest for h is commercial customers. Is this come thing I should complain about? Does. He have the. Right to do. That? Later I went back and $20 pennies and $40 in dimes from the teller who is always very sweet to me. At first, nearly all the paper rubes (all CWR) had a marker stripe on them. I got worried thinking they had been searched and marked, then realized it was someone's name and address crossed out. It was bad searching them. I only got three wheat pennies!!!!! 1956 D, 1944 and 1939. 1939 is my oldest yet though and it's in pretty gold condition. Got a good bit of copper and about the same amount of 60's pennies. I also got a bunch of these pennies that are stamped unevenly. Are these errors? Also got a Canadian centennial penny. Then there was this storage little token in one of the rolls. Reads "official member partners club PGA tour. Any ideas??? Gt skunked on the dimes, but got this brown colored dime. It has a couple scratches on it, but no silver coloring showing through. Ideas on that as well?

Thanks! I thought it was pretty cool too!

Banks need to keep some rolls for their customers, so you can't complain about that. Keep in mind we aren't the bank's only customers.

It need's to be at least this off-center to have any value.

I got a couple rolls on Friday to go through this weekend because the banks are closed Saturday and Sunday. They had so few rolls I just got whatever I could. $16 in nickels, $10 in pennies, $20 in quarters. I got a couple nickels from the 60's that have a really nice rainbow patina and are in great condition. Are these proofs? They do not have a mintmark. I got 4 Wheaties (1956 D, 1944, 1957, 1939). There was also a Canadian centennial cent. I got one bicentennial quarter in the rolls. I ALSO GOT A 1957 ROSIE!!!!! My first every 90% silver coin that I got from CRH'ing!! I was rim checking and thought I had gotten a silver, but it was a modern Canadian coin. Then in the same roll was my silver!!

I enjoy reading peeps personal logs, keep it up.

Thanks! Will do!

Post a picture of the nickels so I can see if it's a proof.

I will post a picture tomorrow when I have more time. I went to the bank again today and basically cleaned out what they had left. $10 in dimes, $20 in quarters, $5 in pennies, and $4 in nickels. No Ag, but got 4 Wheaties. A 1944, 1952 D, 1954, and a 1954 D. There was also a good amount of copper. Then skunked in the quarters, nickels and dimes. I thought I had found a silver dime, but it was a clad commemorative Canadian dime. :(

Here they are. The picture really doesn't do justice to how bright they really are.

Nice looking! I find a lot of those, (I) Just throw them back if they don't got an S, but I might regret that =P

No, those are not proofs since there were not any proof nickels minted in 1967.

I also have a question about nickels that anyone can answer: Are full step nickels from the early 2000s worth keeping? I just didn't want to create a new thread for this purpose.

What about 1961 or 1964?
