Decided to be like Wickaboag and just start a log so that I am not continuously posting bugging everyone with my posts!
I am not going to post nearly as much as everyone else on this thread, because I have been extrememly with school have only been CRH'ing once in the past month! Feel free to PM me about anything! My budget and time only allows me to buy CWR, not whole boxes. Not exactly the king of quarters like Wicka, but hope to find that dream roll someday!

Are they marked S?

No, the first proofs for nickels with an "S" mintmark were made in 1968. Keep in mind 1968, 1969, and 1970 had circulation strikes with an "S" mintmark as well.

Well I went to the bank again and got whatever I could. $30 in quarters (got 1 bicentennial), $5 in pennies (skunked) $50 dollars in dimes (skunked). I have met the perfect teller!! She is always so nice, and makes to sure to always pick out that CWR's without me ever asking! Anyway I got a 1964, a 1981, a 1994, and a 1962 Canadian Pennies. I also got a1987 Canadian dime in the dimes rolls. Then I found a 1967 dime with a half BLACK rim instead of copper. Any ideas?

I went to the bank yesterday, but was so busy with school I couldn't post, so I will just add that to todays result. Got $20 in pennies- 1958, 1956 D, 1954, 1951, 1947 D, 1945 D, 1944, 1941, and a 1919 S!! Oldest coin found CRH by a mile!! Skunked on all of my dimes and nickels, but did get a couple to fill one of the Whitman nickel books I am filling just from change and CRH'ing. I also think I found a penny error, which I will post next. Oh, and my dump bank now says you need an account to cash in coins there! So now I dump at my pickup bank! (Its a small town with only two banks.) Of course, my dream teller is the one who told me to bring all of the coins to here bank, mark the rolls, and we can pick out the unmarked rolls together! Also today, she told me a man had brought her a couple coins from his collection when he was a kid. There were a couple half dollars, all clad, and 3 Susan B. Anthony dollars. Not really worth much, but I will pay face for them all day long. The teller also told me that she would hold anymore coins he brought in for me! She is so great!!! I just got the coins today so I haven't searched them yet, but will post the results soon! Hopin' that man brings in some of his "Ikes" that for some reason have a lady's head on one side!

The black rim on the dime is probably just some kind of oxidation, but I can't say for sure without a pic. The man's "collection" could just be some loose coins he picked up from the nearby bank after he searched them.

Thanks. I doubt it. His whole story still adds up, and he did have the Susan b Anthony dollars. It was just a little collection from when he was a kid. Nothing special.

Went through $40 of quarters today, another national parks that I need for my set, and 4 bicentennials!

Got $120 in quarters today! 6 bicentennials, and a couple national parks quarters I already have that I kept just because they were in very good condition. Have a half day of school tomorrow, so hoping to seriously stock up for the weekend! HH!

I went ot the bank yeterday, and there was a rewally lon g line! I finally got to the front, and had to go to a teller i had never bee to before. She took FOREVER rubbing the coin rolls against the edge of the counter, and then she would compare each roll to a MWR to make sure they had equal number in each, if she though it looked different, she would take all the coins out the my roll and count them! Does anyone else have to do this? Well i finally got my cash, and was able to get $60 in MWR's in quarters. Everything else they had was mine. Got a bicentennial ender! My first ender of any kind! Got 3 bicentennials, and 2004 S Michigan state quarter proof! M first proof ever!

Went to a didn't bank today that's a bit farther away, and cashed in some coin, and got $3.50 in lose halves which was all they had. Disappointing yes, but my best is two 40%'s in $7.50 of halves. No silver, but got this strange looking coin. Error? Or just run over by a car a couple times? I would say the latter, but it is evenly work everywhere, and the rim looks like it never had ridges on it. Many of the smaller details and writing are barely visible, or nonexistent. Thanks for the input.

The teller told me an old lady had came in and said she had three big jars full of change she was wrapping. skunked on everythin, but got a 2012 Canadian penny, 1969 Canadian and 6 wheaties. Oldest 1940. Also two strange pennies and i strange nickel i will post pictures of when i have time.

2012 Canadian cents are very low mintage. Don't get rid of it.

Really?? How low? Yah it was actually an ender and is very shiny with barely any scratches or tarnishes.

Well here are the pictures I promised earlier. The penny in the picture with three others looks like it might be 24 k plated? Every heard of that with pennies? Then the quarter kinda explains itself. The last penny I was about to put in the copper pile, but I noticed the reverse, Andy ideas? It seems to be part of the coin, and has a tiny grid system running through it.

People gold plated anything, including cents. I don't know anything about the copper cent.
