I have to chime in on this one.

When I hunt it is to eat, if I need to put an animal down it is because I need the food or they are harming my crops. I don't shoot animals for bragging rights, or to fill something deep inside of me that is screwed up for some reason, it is for providing a meal on my families table.

As for keeping a tally sheet as people have been doing here, I think it is ridiculous and shows a lot about the persons personality, or lack their of.

I know that squirrels can be a pain on crops, wiring and so on, but I actually enjoy watching them, as I do birds. I keep feeders out and get a great deal of enjoyment watching them. I may start a thread on how much birdseed I put out and start counting the different species I see each day. We are up to 60 lbs so far this year.

Actually, I had never seen an armadillo until last week. This week I decided that every one I see even remotely near the road I would swerve out of my way in my Gas Guzzling Ford MONSTER Truck to try and SQUASH 'em FLAT just for fun. YEEEEHAAAAW!!!

It's more fun than the time those hogs ate my little brother!

At last someone with some sence you have renewed my faith with my overseas brothers this is exactally what I was talking about earlier, Hunting and Shooting Animals is fine, as long as it's done properly, for food or controll, but it seems that some sick people like to brag about killing
