Dime box and 2 *potential* penny boxes!!

I went to the bank and got a $250 box of dimes and (2) $25 boxes of pennies... $300 total. (BRINKS)

Found 1 silver dime edge-searching(1947)...

When I dumped the boxes of pennies on the floor, 4 rolls slid out with coins pouring on the floor. I look for enders before I open my rolls to see if the box is going to be productive(usually average an ender every 1.5 boxes of pennies)

Looking at the ends of the rolls of coins, I got so far: 1 canadian (heads), 3 wheat enders... 2 tails and a heads(1941)... I did not look through any except for the 4 rolls that slid out onto the floor open, 2006 canadian, 1956d 1944 and 1930! This box has potential!!!

Will post results most likely tomorrow, but this should be a good batch!! 4 rolls opened and already at least 6 wheats!!



Edit: went to the bank and asked for a box of nickels and a box of pennies, they were out on nickels so I asked for a box of pennies and a box of dimes. The woman misunderstood me and brought out 2 boxes of pennies and a box of dimes, Worked out better for me!

By my results, some rolls had none, some had 2 and as many as 3. I am thinking there is 1 dream box of pennies and 1 normal (different batches) results will show.

nice score on the silver dime! that penny box looks very promising! i bet out of the $50 in pennies, you will average 1 per roll, IF the 2nd box is a continuation...whos to say that one box is average, and the other is a dream box...so, my guesses:
if both are a continuation of each other: 100 wheats total. (from both boxes)
if one is a dream box, the other is average id have to say 60 wheats total. (from both boxes)

Thanks! When I opened the box, noticed there were not as many "shiny" edges, hopefully that's a good sign of older pennies like wheats! My best to date was a penny box containing 32 wheats...

25 rolls in and im gonna call it a night. 19 wheat pennies in 25 rolls!!!

Half a box and is already 1.5x more than an average box!
The best roll so far actually had 3 consecuative pennies in a row! That roll only had the 3 wheats and a canadian penny. I'll take it.

Rest is to be opened tomorrow afternoon!

Sounds like the box may produced some older wheats considering you've already found a 1930. Looking forward to hearing your results.
