dime box code tracking

I believe a similar post was made about this some time ago but must have been buried... It may be interesting to dime box hunters to share codes and their general area of origin (not to give away the location of a honey hole )

I'll go first if anyone would like to contribute please feel free...

Working my 12th box of code: 5291, purchased in TN.

Mixed results, averaging about one silver per box.

I have been paying attention to string box codes for halves and after 60 boxes of halves, it has proven to be inconclusive for me. Sometimes the boxes yield and sometimes they don't. Good luck though, I might be wrong.

I dont think a simple thread could be useful to anyone, let alone organized enough to be helpful. with SO many posters from all different locations, odds are that you wont find anyone with your box and will be wasting your time posting. Thats just my two (copper) cents

Codes and dates are totally unrelated to contents.
I have found dates that are years into the future.
They only have meaning to the contractor and the buyer to verify receipt.
