Great job on dimes! I have searched a few boxes and find basically nothing. On top of that, the coin machines I use short me a lot counting them as pennies. I net negative when searching dimes so I quit doing them.

I did check my ticket to see 5 dimes counted as cents. I jokingly mentioned that to the teller, she said "and that's how we ship the bags out, cents with dimes". I left it at that, this counter is usually spot on, so 5 counted as cents (out of $800) won't make or break me.

Yeah 5 out of $800 isn't too bad. The last time I was brave enough, I lost close to $20 on one box. Like someone on here said, "Some days you are the windshield. And some days you are the bug." I was definitely the bug that day and decided that was enough for me. I had to laugh though, I dumped some halves that day too and when the teller was changing the bag, he also changed a penny bag. I pointed out to him all of the dimes in the penny bag and he said ,"Huh. Yeah, look at that." I'm not sure if that meant, "Yeah. Who cares?" or if he was actually surprised. Either way I realized I had lost my $20 in exchange for a 1946 Rosie. So that's what it feels like to be a bug?
