I wouldn't trust those dollars. Disney had Scrooge McDuck as their treasurer at the time those notes were issued. I would wager, given his stingy nature, that Mr. McDuck printed at least $1,000 in fiat Disney Dollars for every $1 in gold he actually had on deposit in his vault. Should too many people actually try to cash out their Disney dollars all at once it would cause an insolvency crisis. This is actually how Mr. McDuck's grandfather Ebenezer McDuck caused the Great Depression in 1929.
