Finally I started detecting this year- not metal detecting but eye-detecting :). Just walking around I've noted that one field is shining like a mosaic. Hundreds of porcelain and glass peaces were there, and after 1 hour of looking at the ground I was already happy :)

"Saar (area in the west of Germany; now French) was, is, and will be german" - is written on it.

After that I took detector and came to another field which was on the hill - very good position for observation of approaching enemy in former times :)
Here is an overview of finds

That's some nice stuff you got. I like the buckle alot. Those double eagles look cool. I need to make a sifter like the one you have and do some sights with it.

Congrats Jer

That russian buckle is great. I would compare it with finding a civil war buckle here in the USA. Thanks for sharing.

Great stuff! What is that clear crooked little bottle on the upper left side? And the half globe? What could that have been?

Also, is that a hole in the belt buckle? Is it big enough for a bullet, ya think?

Nice finds!!

Crooked bottle is inkpot from 1950s-60s as well as another one next to the right.

Half globes were used on the first cars for lightening (headlight?)

And hole in the belt is a result of deformation by farmers - when found it was completely crumpled :'(
