Dman & VOL Attack U.S. Camp & They Don't Have As Much Lead As they Used To +Video

As you will see in the video, we had a lot of rain here yesterday and were forced to cancel our hunt to a U.S. 1862 camp. TENNJOSH could not go today and Tenn. Digger (Donnie) opted to turn around and return home as it was raining shortly after he left home. Dman and I waited in the truck for an hour or so for a window to hunt between showers. We dug a few relics but neither had any outstanding recoveries. The wet soil did facilitate digging deep signals. Any day you can go out and recover 150 year old history and take it home is a Good Day!! HH, Doug & Quindy.
Note the "Relic Rag" Modern Miner sent me!!

I really enjoyed that Quindy. I'm going next time if I can get my suit out of the cleaners, have to out-dress Doug! If they ever cut that place I'll bet that you and your posse can really clean house as there are some deep bullets in there for sure. I love seeing those bullets when they first come out the ground, nothing like it. Good job on the video and good song for a rainy day. And, for what it's worth, I'll say it again. Who in the crap wears a golf shirt to a relic hunt? Tennessee digger

Good one Quindy! A handful of finds, good fellowship, and beautiful country .. What more could one ask for?

Good hunt, fellas! Even if ya just find one CW bullet, that's a good day!

Great day in my book!

Quindy,

I love seeing the videos. I hope you bring that camera down here so you and Dman can film some of the good food here. :D

Well done, and great that you got some finds in between the rain showers.

Cheers,

Buck

Donnie, I guess he was trying to impress some cows-LOL. Hope you can go hunting with us next time. Josh called during the hunt to see what he had missed. HH, Q.

Thanks Rob and it was a good day my friend. HH, Quindy.

Relics are disappearing fast Matt for many reasons so you are right. HH, Quindy.

Thanks Hutch and that bass is a Whopper!! Good luck in VA, Q.

Don't worry BB, I'll have the camera handy so you can get me digging Reales and plates-LOL. HH on Friday, Q.

Thanks Bill and good luck hunting. There will be more videos Bud, Quindy.

Richard, that pic was made from the bridge over the Cumberland at Hartsville. In both river views, Morgan's troops escorted over 1,400 Yankee prisoners using river crossings over the river toward Murfreesboro. The river was obviously not so deep then. HH, Quindy.

Q, you've turned into a regular Steven Spielberg; great video and music, and the relics were not too shabby either displayed on MM's Halloween relic rag. Y'all did guuuud! :) Breezie

Morgan could sure snag some prisoners couldn't he? I am still gun shy on the f75 but that will change. I like finding bullets it always puts the day in perspective. You found double what I did but I was alone sooooo,,, maybe I need to get a partner or dress better. Haha. Thanks you guys for sharing your fun days out. We all knew you had fun now we get to see it.

Thanks Breezie, I had a lot of helpful advice along the way. As to the halloween rag, when i think of horror, I think of Modern Miner-LOl. I received your great pics for the article-thanks. HH, Q.

Richard. I'll send you an email to make you appreciate the F75 more on your next hunt. HH, Q.

We hope to have more videos Randy. I hope you can get Guy & hunt this weekend in East Tenn. Good luck, Quindy.

Thanks for looking Jim & HH, Quindy.

Video is not as good as yours Richard but I'm learning and i appreciate you helping me learn the system. HH, Q.

Thanks for looking OS. HH, Quindy.

Looks like you guys were able to recover some history with out getting too dirty - LOL. You should have seen what I looked like after digging in this past Sunday's rain :laughing7:

Tell DMAN to keep wearing his lucky golf shirts - they seem to be working for him. Maybe try a camo golf shirt next time - haha!

LOL Steve. I was eagerly awaiting your comment to him. If anyone can find a camo golf shirt, he can. I think he just wears golf shirts in case Charlie's Angels parachutes into our hunt site-LOL. Take care & good Luck this weekend Srteve. We are expecting light frost on Sunday night here.

Great video Quindy.

Love the relic rag, that's great :)
