Do these teacups with some wrap (bamboo?) them have a name?

Its a ceramic teacup. And I don't know if that is bamboo wrapped around the outside or what. It has some sort of coating over it. Do they have a name? Because I am trying to find out if they are worth anything.

No markings on the bottom, I presume. Is the exterior texture pressed into the ceramic and glazed or is that a real basket weave with a coating?

No markings on the bottom. The exterior is some basket weave with some sort of epoxy/polyurethane over it. Its seems to actually be woven. and shrunk to the cup maybe?
