Do you ever say anything to those that scare at you while metal detecting ?

I hate it when someone comes nearby and yells out as loud as possible, "HEY...ARE YOU FINDING ANYTHING?" Like I'm gonna actually be stupid enough to yell out loud for the world to hear if I found a gold coin or anything else good. I usually say not much, just some rusted iron and they lose interest fast.

Or you could just tell them something so ridiculous that they think you whacko anyhow......"Ya, the last time I was here I found 11 gold coins,a freezer, 50 silver dollars, and parts to an atom bomb. But the CIA,FBI, ATF and NASA showed up at my house that night...It was BS, I was tired and all they wanted to do was talk...........Hope I don't find any of that today!!! I don't need that headache again!!!" And just keep rambling......
