kinda think it maybe its a 500 won korean or japanese --hard to tell for sure photos a bit fuzzy-- honestly its been awhile since I was over in those parts but it looks coins that I recall seeing in those parts to me.

The characters on the coin look Chinese or Japanese.

Possibly some kind of token.

Hey Bro,

Crackbadger here, the coin is Japanese. 500 yen, worth about 4.70 cents I believe. I have several of them, urs looks to be an older coin though, not crazy old, I cant make out the date on your coin without a clearer picture.

You got it. it is a Japanese 500 yen coin. Korean won is much different.
