I know, it all adds up. Actually, I'm proof of that, I've found enough over the years for 3 detectors. :laughing7:

Anyway, here's some more to "enjoy";

About as far back as one can get

deep too.

Kinda wish they'd lose more of these. ;)

Clad keeps newbie motivated. I've had up and down years but I wouldn't give up metal detecing because of a bad season. I'm always pumped up and looking forward to the next hunt.

Ammoman 's reply nailed it, summer months it's pretty much park's, but when at an older site, with great hopes, and all that turns up is a couple of zinc pennys and a clad dime or two?, it's like, Really? But it does add up, why I've kept count since retiring is another story, but since Jan. 2015 1,702 Quarters, 2,590 Dimes over 1500 nickels, and penny's, pushing 11,000. Now, if all of that were pre 1900 coins?, you could not slap the smile off my face.

So needless to say...your clad finds paid off your detector :) Thats a good reason to like clad hehe.

I don't mind finding clad, just means it's wasn't trash. And it does add up to pay our gas and equipment expenses.

And along the way we find something nice, here and there.

Ah well...no, not really. I have them separated into four clear plastic boxes in my "fort", and any one who comes in there, can't help but run their fingers thru them.
