does anyone use the deeptech vista rg 750 detector?

I just grabbed some coins.,and a set of Fisher phones which did not work in the Vista.. Did in the Compadre, so i know I have to get the phone jack fixed..I'm 73 and the hearing and tone do not mesh that well. ( My hearing is bad in the speaker range..) Taking inches off so that anyone can get my results with this detector and be comfortable in the field..Silver dime(no clad coins used) 10 inches.1/2 dollar and quarter ,11 inches........Same for a nickel and a large cent...I am going to charge the battery( I don't know what the power level is, except the battery" low" light is not on.)..And, after helping put up a tent, am going out to the "hunted out" field..Tomorrow,I'll try the silver field and see if it will reach down and grab some.....A little more heft than my Vaquero,which has an added battery pack.I think it swings pretty good. Will check the fatigue factor tonight. So, I've had the detector on for a total of 15 minutes,now to read the manual...and, plug the battery in.....Only thing I can say for sure, is that it is deeper than my Vaquero...Right now, better than two inches on a dime for solid, field digging hits. Remember, Vista tested out side, Vaquero inside.. I knocked off an inch or better on the Vista distances..With earphones working, I'd guess DEEPER. Going to run with it for about two weeks, then give you a breakdown, including depths on buried coins..

You mean that the Vista came with a broken headphone Jack ?? But i am still waiting to hear the results you get...........

Earphone jack...That happens. Bought a detector, coil no worka.. Don't know if that was price reason, or idiot who was trying to force the connector did it in. Status. Having the shop build me a test stand.Will slide the coil OVER a fixed coin,not a coin waved in front of the coil..And, will have a disinterested kid say GO,NO GO. This way, I can run dead on comparisons....They thought I was crazy when I requested that the frame be doweled, not nailed.. Called a dealer up 248 area code waiting for a reply.. If he is in Michigan, guess where I'm going...This is a new machine to the US. I have questions about it..If I say it is good, or bad,buy or not buy, you will know where I am coming from..And, I have two maniacs that will be swinging this puppy as well.One is a Mine lab dealer...By the way, I would like to thank Treasure Net for allowing me to run up their forum space..

hey there Nadcurves you have the old version of the 750 and totally different now from the new ones i am told, just to let everybody know i will be doing vids within possibly next month on the vista gold and new relic machine plus the rg 1000 just bought some vid equipment so stay tuned for up dates!

hey there v44, sending the detector back to Bulgaria..They will fix the jack, I've asked for a three turn ground pot, that one turn leaves much to be desired.

and they will upgrade the machine.. Wondering if anyone knows how to hook up an amplifier /speaker/ volume control ,to a phone jack.. They used to do this all the time.. Postage to there is about sixty dollars, and the repair guy was saying 35 to 50 depending on problems with the jack..If that sounds bad, just think how cheap it is in relation to all the electronics I've destroyed trying to "fix"...I would like a smaller, house, trash filled yard, coil..Will even build them the cover assembly if they supply the coil wired and held down..Since testing will be done in the Winter, will make the hardship trip to Florida or the Bahamas..
