Metal Detecting
I was under the impression I would average an IHP every 40-50 boxes. So I was surprised when I found this 1902 after only 12 boxes searched. Only problem is it's got the jewelry hole drilled into it. Still a cool find and will certainly add to the collection...but it's not a "pure" find. Just wanted to get others' opinions as to whether this can count as a legit find and can add it to the annals of CRH history. Thanks ahead for the feedback and, of course, HH.

If you found it in a roll, then it's a legit find in any condition. Nice find!

Looks legit to me ! I get excited when i find an IH (4 in the last year) .

Keeper in my book, congratulations!

Definitely legit. I found my first IH in my very first box, then none for the next 20 boxes.

Great find! Congratulations!

From the look of it's patina I'd say someone found it while metal detecting before you refound it.

That's one of those sneaky Indians that like to play Hide and Seek.

NOT a legit find. You fell victim to the CRH "hole loophole" that says any holed coin is worthless.

JUST KIDDING! :laughing7:

Great find!
