Does This Quartz Have Gold Flecks?

I was recently on some land that my family owns and noticed a lot of Quartz. These two rocks look like they are orange/red veined. But I didn't know for sure what it could be. Could it be gold, or what else?

What state was the rock found? Near a stream or river? I can't see any gold but if it's in a good location that could change how you would move forward prospecting the area.

looks like some garnet in there.lots of that around where i live in upstate ny

Need better close ups, but it looks like iron to me.
