Hello dogdoc9,

What were some of the "air test" depth readings? Did the ID number match know US coins? Were the coins buried parallel to the surface or on edge (perpendicular)?

I believe even the cheapest detector you could buy reads a coin at 2". Please answer the questions above and one of us can hopefully diagnose the problem.

Welcome Aboard dogdoc9! You didn't list your state (or country) in your profile. So, you might consider jumping over to Sub-Forums: Select Your Area.... and selecting location information (i.e., clubs, hunts, finds, legends, maps, etc.) directly related to your state (or country).
