Doing volume when you have to re-roll?

I'm assuming when people post here about doing 8 boxes a week or so that they are buying rolls, but dumping in to a TD machine or other coin counter.

Where I live, we don't have these. When we bring in our dumps, they have to be rolled. (I generally bring them in the rolls I got them in, whether they be old-fashioned CWR rolls, or machine-packed rolls, unless the rolls were in such bad shape that I need to re-roll them.)

I'm just curious how much volume people are able to handle when there are no coin counters. Are there any high-volume players here who bring rolls to their dump bank?

(Personally, I bring in about $1500-$2000 in rolls to my dump bank. (I order an occasional box, but mostly go for CWRs, and let them accumulate until I have about that much to bring to the bank.) The bank is in a grocery store, so the high-basket shopping carts there are my best friends. To make the rolls easy to count, I put a single layer of them into various shallow box flats, so each batch of $250-$400 is fairly easy to manage.) I deposit the coins - not trying to do an immediate cash-in -- but then occasionally withdraw when I need more CRH funds.

I just can't imagine being able to burden the bank (or myself) with $4000/week in rolls. But I'm curious if other people are doing just that, and what tricks you all might have for managing that.

When it comes to rolling I have rolls on hand and I reroll each $10 worth of halves that I go through. I have one roll sitting open and I replace whatever I pull out of one roll and it goes pretty smooth.

As for dumb banks. My personal bank will take $1000 a week in halves without a problem. Two other branches I use will take $1000 a week and they have coin counters, those two banks have 2 branches each in my town which leaves me with $4000 a week I can put through counters. This is of course not counting Quarters and Dimes I plan on searching as well.

Granted, I have not moved up to that volume yet. I am hoping to be up to that come end of Jan to late Feb.

I wish there were CWR's in my area, but with so many coin counters, CWR's are really uncommon. Shows how different parts of the country can be WAY different for CRH.

Honestly, I would probrably not do CRH if I had to reroll my coins. I just thriw them into my bucket, then pour into a canvas bag. Then, dump into the coin machine, 5 minutes later, I am walking out of the bank with cash.

How about credit unions? They are more cost conscious for their members so they may have one.

I haven't done a ton of volume, mostly just pennies, nickels, and dimes. After getting my first large volume of dimes ($400) though, I'm sure it wouldn't take too long to search and re-roll a high volume. I went through the $400 and re-rolled in about 20 minutes by pouring each roll out in my hand, flipping through it looking for dates, and then pouring right back into the roll.

I do re-roll dumps.. I just stuff them back into the rolls that they came in. Don't really know if volume is worth it. The last two months have been bad for CRH for me. Getting skunked a lot. I also have a 5 box skunk streak going on dime boxes too.
