There's a lot I've been eye-balling for a long time now... Nothing special. Just a vacant lot in a regular neighborhood. I drive past it on an almost daily basis.
Today I had some extra time, and thought , " What the hell...let's give it a look". Glad I did.

I'm pretty sure no one else has detected this spot. First signal was a 1941 WASHINGTON QUARTER...

Second two good targets were Mercury dimes...1935 and 1941- D

Last good signal was a silver coin ring. On the inside of the ring it reads " Liberte, Equalite, and Fraterite...1919". I believe that this is a French 2 francs silver coin, that was fashioned into a ring. I have never found a coin ring before, so that 's pretty cool in my book.

Your title is good advice. Treasure is where you find it and it can be almost anywhere. I hunt anywhere I can get permission. A lot of times it is nothing special, but other times you score a real goodie.

You had a great hunt. The coin ring is a real special find. Congratulations, stay safe, good luck and keep swingin.
