We are Hard Rock Mining a vein that has PMG's, Gold & Silver.
Please:
Can any help us out on how to go about making a dory bar of these metals? All into one bar?
Will we be able to melt all metals into dory bars without the aid of a smelter / furnace?
Will we need to use any fluxes?
Will the silver stay with the Gold and PMG's or flake / break off along with the slag?
The Company that we want to have process for us will only take dory bars.
Any help here would be greatly appreciated.
Links, web sites, videos and youtube are cool too.
Thanks in advance.

You might find a website if you punch in dore, instead of dory.

a Oxygen Acetylene torch will work. melt the gold slowly in a graphite or fireclay crucible
Legend Inc. Sparks, Nevada USA: Fire Clay Crucibles
A furnace is not that expensive. and can double as a assay furness
Legend Inc. Sparks, Nevada USA: Model S Pot Furnace for # 6 Crucible

I use a powdered silver brazing flux

Ok,, I guess I misspelled Dore. Sorry about that.
Thanks for your input here and will check into that flux. We have reevaluated or cons and now not real sure on the platinum metals in our recovery. We do know we are getting gold and silver. Will that same flux you mention work on gold and silver or will l the silver mix with the slag?

boric acid and 2160 degrees will seperate and melt up what you got (will also burn off the lead tin zinc .. your copper will remain .. )) talk to Gold tramp .. hes got the murcury down pat.. me i use Aqua Regia to seperate..
