Double something reverse?????? Please tell me!!!!

Found this in a roll some long time ago.
Someone please tell me how that happened, maybe.

Very cool - looks like it got punched twice on one side. The Penny experts on here will know more - Nice find.

The reverse of another cent was in contact. Either pressed in with force, or through an adhesive. It happens, and did not happen in the mint.

I found a similar one once and after many years thinking I had something great, I realized it was an impression made on the penny from clear glue being sandwiched between two pennys. The backwards writing may tell the tale on yours.
