No offense but I dont see it in yours. I have never seen one (double point) but have plenty of damaged points to view of my own collection that I have found.
Well, judging from the evidence presented, It's solved. Double tipped point it is!
Will still like to hear any more reasonable suggestions though.
Apparently the only reasonable suggestions are the ones that line up with your expectations.
I don't know why I started wasting my breath here.
you 2 are being silly IMO. Its not a contest as to who is rite and who is wrong. Its about looking and finding artifacts and having fun.
that's a great picture of me!<img src="http://www.treasurenet.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=920779"/>
Here is the rework I wanted to show you yesterday. Its not a point anymore but now a tool.
Nice one. What kind of tool are you thinking? Halfted scraper? Spokeshave?
I really think that your point hasn't been reworked. It appears to be a badly broken point, and if it was all there it would have been one heck of a nice one.

why wouldn't yours be an eccentric? I've also read about doodles. I'm not sure if that is a slang or just what it is.I'm not sure just what the function was on these types Points, but there are quite a few well documented finds of these types. Mine is definitely worked just as you see it. There was no impact fracture on that one. It is flaked that way. I have also seen several examples at shows here in Ohio that were also purposefully made just that way.
