Looks like a small Dove to me. The material does look a little like Flint Ridge Chalcedony, but it's hard to tell from just the picture.

Killer point though. Personal find?

I just got out my Ohio Flint Types book and I stand by my assessment of it being Flint Ridge Chalcedony. I find quite a few pieces made from this type in Scioto county which is the next county to the east of Adams county Ohio.

Molly thanks,

The eastern midwest region I belong too.
What state I am in varies. Late than never
now I am back to waiting.lol. Find any feathers
lately? Thanks for response Dorkfish, Yes I did
that one on the last time it was fullow plowed.
My better finds are far and inbetween. Another
picture if it's more clear. Hello Doug and Dollarzero,
For me Doves are rare for me too. My old sites are
around seven or so miles from the Ohio line.
Thanks all, have a prospurous day!
Bruce

Oh yes, lots of feathers, especially while hunting. I'll have to start making my dreamcatchers early this year, for my friends for xmas. My parrots feathers are the best though, multi coloured.
