Very funny. Are you telling me the video I just pointed you to is a fake?

I see what 1.5 says..... I also saw the video of Randi holding a check for $10K , and this faker attempting to do something he couldn't. Had he been able to do it, I expect Randi would've paid him on the spot.

It's been explained and repeated to you that the preliminary test was not always a required element of the challenge, but was instituted once the $1,000,000 was made the final award, mostly to keep out the fruitcakes and save the JREF time.

But no one blames you for not wanting to attempt the challenge, Art. I know I wouldn't want to be publicly humiliated like that. Just keep up your repetitive excuses and you'll never have to worry about it.

Nice vids, but I'm afraid they will fall on blind eyes and deaf ears dealing with Art like this, Jean. It's unfortunate, but the ones claiming to be the most open-minded are also the most ignorant to the truth.

Art no one has taken the final test because they ALL FAILED THE PRELIMINARY TEST. Since you're a dowser, the convenient take on that is that it's rigged. The only problem is that you refuse to believe that there's a possibility that *gasp*, dowsing may just not work.

You haven't proven it works to begin with, so any information to disprove something that hasn't been proven is moot. How about someone start a thread "Dowsing Works" and we can read all your wonderful replies full of information on why it works. The dowsing rod swings both ways.

You know, Art.... anyone (me included) could come here "cold", having no particular feeling about if dowsing really worked or not; and after reading no more than two days worth of your postings, they would know for sure that dowsing was a totally worthless and time wasting endeavor.

You want proof, Art? How about this? There is absolutely no reason dowsing should work. Does that confuse you? It should, but not because it's any kind of complex thought, the type you are unable to grasp.

There is no reason dowsing should work at all. Pick any object you see around you, and there is a reason it should work.

A pencil? It should work because we know graphite leaves grey marks on paper, and so graphite was inserted into a wooden handle, and the pencil was born.

A vacuum cleaner should work because we know that a motor creates a suction, so slap a filter and bag over the motor intake, and we have a vacuum!

But dowsing..... Why should dowsing work? The rods don't have any physical features that would cause them to function they way you say they do. They aren't magnetic in a lot of rods, they don't have a receiver on them. In fact, you can't seem to get two dowsers to agree on anything when it comes to dowsing's causes.

I don't know about you, but when every single dowser has their own theory on why dowsing works, that should set off an alarm bell that there may be a problem. No one disagrees on why a pencil or vacuum cleaner works, and if there was a reason dowsing should work, no one would disagree about that, either.
