There is a lot of history in the ground.
What do you mean by Red box
View attachment 980434 Something different!
As a young boy I found this strange looking rock the size of a very large egg.
.It had grease feeling to it, opaque in color with a reddish streak to it.
What i did next was to rub it across a bottle and boy did it cut deep. All this happened before diamonds were know to exist in Canada.
As time went on I lost interest in my rock collection and forgot about it for sometime.
Eventually the property was sold and had to move out and the rock collection was disposed in a careful fashion on the property line .
Now! I have a strong urge to go back.By the way just to mention there was 110 k diamond recovered around 1895 in glacial tilt by a prospecting priest and this has been documented. It was sold to a rich men from Toronto
and now have lost track of the owner. This has potential worth in the millions
Anyone willing to dowse!
