"Dragon" farm gives it up, day 3

Short hunt between rain showers, found 6 modern coins, fairly new drops and these: 1897 V nickle, completely toasted, one colonial silver button, with shank, one ca 1840 "coin" button with art of "Philadelphia" backmark and a colonial flat button, no shank. Plus a horseshoe which is still in the truck.

I think that it's a cufflink, hand engraved and OLD. That thing looks like the real deal to me.

Agreed, looks like a late 18th C link-button (cuff-link).

That is a super nice silver cufflink. That design was popular in the 1750s and 60s.
