I think you will find that the glacial silt wehave here mixed with our wonderful claylike yuk would make dredging a pretty profitless adventure. Also the silt in the inlet is so deep in most places & moved so much by the tides that I doubt you would find any good "pockets". Ahhh yes & dealing with those ripping tides for hours a day... Make Nome look like a cakewalk I fear.
