Back in Jan/Feb 2019 (Right after Hurricane Michael) my wife bought an old dresser, at an antique store, to modify as a vanity for the bathroom.

Moving it from the store to The Beast (2006 Ford Expedition Ltd), it made noises. Moving if from The Beast to the house it made noises.

Pulled the drawers out and this is what I found beneath the bottom drawer

Pic 1: The Honour Cross of the World War 1914/1918, sometimes erroneously referred to as the Hindenburg Cross. This one is the version with the crossed swords meaning it was for front-line veterans.

Pic 2: An East German aka NVA ( National Volksarmie or National Peoples Army) aka DDR/GDR (Deutsche Demokratische Republic or German Democratic Republic) overseas cap.
