I have to get all of them into one frame as I have a lot more
these were sewn onto dresses which had some times 500 of these
they were kept a long time and passed down over many years
think of how long it would take to wear the hole out and then have to drill another hole
this is why some have two holes and a lot of them have the hole worn through
they are ivory

I bet the clothing was beautiful adorned with elk ivory. Nice finds.
