Drivers pin?

[RJH02]

This was found in a corral area on a farm. It says 1959 Competition Driver on the front and on the back it says something (?) and below it says Attleboro. Looks like part of some type of toy, pin or badge to me. Any ideas? Thanks

It says "Leavens" ~

Leavens Awards Company or Leavens Manufacturing Co., Inc. (same outfit).

"Leavens Manufacturing Co., Inc. operated at the facility from approximately 1953 until 1984. Leavens Awards Co., Inc. operated at the facility from 1984 until 1999." They were closed by the EPA in 1999 :

Thanks, there is a dirt track about 20 min. form here. I will ask the landowner if he knew who may have raced there at that time.

Thanks. Do you think mine could be from that track too? Like I said there is a dirt track 20 min. from here so it may be a common design used for any race track or series.

Yeah it could be from there . Go on and ask around and try to find out any data that you can . You may find out a lot more details and look for the older people in that area as they would know more from that time.
