Hi :hello2:

Got in a couple of hrs. before the rain started.

Had my dog , Jacky in tow diggin' for bones ( he looooooooves to go detecting with me) while I dug for whatever I could find.

Found yet another antique spoon :help: Holmes & Edwards

Also found a Swiss made Victorinox men's watch in excellent condition...still tickin' but a tad slow , so tomorrow I will bring it to the main Company store( which fortunately is just a "stone's throw" from my town) for a new battery; then it goes to Hank ..early birthday present. :icon_sunny:

Found it under a briar bush about 5" deep.

I was sure happy to find this watch...here's a link to the watch with all the details on the page.

Here's a pic of today's finds

Thanks for taking the "time " to look. :icon_sunny:

[It's also nice that you think about someone else who could use that watch instead of just selling it.

Spreading the joy is always a good thing, and hopefully will bring you back something nice in return.

Thank you , Ralph

I checked with the Swiss Army Corporate Headquarters today when I brought the watch in for a new battery...asked them if there was any way to trace the owner via the various numbers on the back of the watch, but the rep. said there was no way; those numbers are the lot number and the style number.

I would have liked to return this watch to its rightful owner.
