Dual Field PI settings?

I usually keep the pulse delay off, or factory settings at the detent and run my gain a lil below the factory pre set. I have found lots but wonder what other tips or setting that has worked for you. I just want to make sure I'm getting the most out of my machine... thanks.

I run the gain at 3:00 and the threshold at 12:00 and leave the delay at 6:00 (factory setting). Give it a try and you won't be sorry. You're not even scratching the surface of what the DF can do with the settings that you are using. I've picked up small rings, dimes etc... at 15 to 20" running with those numbers.
