Very productive trash pit. I love digging those as their trash is our treasure. :) A complete shoulder scale has been on my wish-list for some time now.

Gregg, Congrat's to you sir on some Fantastic CW History Finds and Saves. Some say that One man's trash is another's treasure. You found a Treasure Pit. I love to watch Utube videos on these pits being dug. As a long time relic hunter here in Georgia, we unfortunately do not have the huge winter camp sites to search. We just sit and drool watching you guys in Ole' Virginni' dig these pits. These will all look great when displayed. You Done Good. I meant to ask if you had finished digging out this pit. I know some that I've seen on video were quite deep at times. A lot of real cool looking whiskey and wine bottles are sometimes found in these pits too. Incredible.
