Cheers, strange group of capbadges I'm getting. This is my 2nd Canadian. I think the nearby isolation hospital dumped their 'diseased' badges etc in my field?? Got at least 50 regiments & tons of WWI associated finds.

I really like the Canadian badge and Roman steel weight, nice finds! HH, Mike

All those cap badges - I'm envious ;D

Well done on your finds

It is from the 44th Battalion CEF.A great find ! They trained at Camp Hughes in Manitoba Canada !

In my opinion that piece of flint you have is an artifact, those straight edges with the small scalloped areas are the result of either someone using percussion chipping or punch chipping. They are to even and too similar to be natural. It almost looks like an arrowhead which was being knapped and then messed up by having one punch go clear across the surface and making it too thin in the center to be used. ;D

Of course, you know the saying about opinions right? Everyone has them, and sometimes they stink :) Might just be a strange rock too :P

Very nice flint :)
