Purchases a Etrac with a bag and pinpointer for 700, never been used. Was it a good deal? I'm not sure how to use it yet, tips would be helpful

That is a really good deal. Around my area I see some on Craigslist for around $900 - $1000

Keep your eyes and ears open, I got mine for $650 with the stock coil, Coiltek 5x10 coil, 2 rechargeable batteries, charger, standard battery pack and a meter cover, shipped. It's in excellent condition as well.
