eagle badge ?

hi was given a jar with a few coins in yesterday by a mate at work :icon_thumright: and found this in there anyone know what it is please ?
it is around 2" across in size

The Air Force woman's cap badge is a smaller version of the officer's cap badge:

Well, then there's this gal:
However, even if the men's and women's badges were identical back then the military specification would have likely described it as an enlisted man's badge. -just their terminology at the time.

An interesting fact I saw on the tube last night. Prior to the end of WWII the eagle looked to the right toward the arrows. After the war Harry S. Truman had the emblems changed so the eagle looked toward the olive branch as a sign of peace. Monty

Thanks for the memories...that's the same uniform that was issued in BMT '74. The badge was the same all the way up to '01 when I retired.
