This is not my find and this is the only pic i have of the button. Im guessing its post Rev War Patriotic or Commemorative, Could even be Official or Diplomatic Service maybe? Any help with id would be greatly appreciated. Thanks coop

Perhaps somebody will recognize the button's exact identity just from the single low-quality photo -- but if not, we need better photos of its front, and also photos of its back. Most buttons have a backmark (maker's name on the back), and if this one does we need to know the name.

Pete is exactly right. We need a better photo of both the front and back. It looks old but could be early militia, civil war era, foreign, ect. Tennessee digger

like I said its the only pic I have. Im well aware of backmarks and quality marks. I was hoping someone would have maybe seen one like it before. Thanks for the help HH

Too bad there isn't a better pic. I swear that eagle's wings were "drooping".
