Eagle C

I have dug probably 200 Civil War eagle buttons, but I had never dug an Eagle C (cavalry) until today. Once I got her cleaned up, the gold on it is stunning! Other keepers from today: two Minie balls, a percussion cap, a leather rivet, and a Sharps cartridge case.

VaGent, the Eagle Cavalry button is beautiful. That gold gilt still pops after 157 years. Congrat's on the saves of some CW History. Well Done.
