Hello folk I was wondering if this Eagle went on top of a flag pole at one time it was painted gold.

Looks more like a Sparrow than an Eagle

Looks to me like it would mount in the horizontal position, which makes me question it's use atop a flagpole.

Your right that it does mount horizontal I’m still trying to figure out what it went to.
